Faux Wood Window Blinds

Faux wood blinds now come in a variety of colors and styles but their purpose is always the same.  One of the more popular ways to make the room look better is with faux wood plantation shutters.  Some people lose site of what that should be and their home designs end up falling short. Obtain a power drill.

Once you have the blinds in hand and you are ready to install, clean the window area and make marks on the window where you feel the blinds will best sit.

Drill a guide hole slightly shorter than the screw you will be installing the blinds with, this allows easier installation of the mounting screws.

Follow th instructions in the blinds themselves as there will be some uniqueness from blinds to blinds as to how to install them.

Faux Wood Blinds from Wal-Mart are made from a high endurance PVC which is a synthetic piece of wood made from plastic.  It has several advantages over real wood blinds the main one being it is not subject to bending and warping as a result of moisture penetration.  The coating also makes the blinds easier to clean and easier to use a broader variety of products on.
